What Are Intentions?

Intentions are words or phrases that describe how you would like to feel usually for a specific length of time. They are words or phrases that pinpoint how you intend to feel.

Why Should You Set Intentions?

Setting intentions can be helpful to set the tone and help guide you towards the mindset that you are desiring for whatever it is you are wanting to achieve. By taking the time to figure out what you want and how you want to feel, you are setting yourself up for success with what your goals are.

Setting intentions can be done through trial and error. You may find that the intention you set isn’t actually the right thing for you. This is ok and definitely a part of the process to not only learn how to set intentions, but to discover what it is you want to feel.

What Are The Benefits To Setting Intentions?

Some of the benefits of intention setting are that you are truly gaining an understanding of what you want to feel and what can help you to feel that way.

You learn to identify your emotions better and have a greater grasp on how you feel at any given moment.

It’s a great way to be more attuned with yourself and learn about your emotions.

How Should You Determine What Your Intention Is?

There are many ways to determine what your intentions are. But, the way that we like to set our intentions is to be guided by our emotions and our goals.

A few questions we like to use to help us determine our intention(s):
